CFDG to Celebrate 15th Anniversary in Parliament

The Charity Finance Directors' Group (CFDG) will be celebrating its 15th Anniversary at a reception on the Terrace of the House of Commons on 19th March 2003. PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP will be supporting the event.

Liberal Democrat MP, Bob Russell MP, who is hosting the reception said,
"CFDG plays a vital role in educating charities and the public about the financial management of charities. I am delighted to be able to help CFDG celebrate 15 years of raising public confidence in the management of charities".

Charity Commissioner, David Taylor added,
"It is vital that charities contribute through good financial management to public confidence in the sector. I have watched CFDG provide invaluable support to charities since I first became associated with them as a member in 1992 and subsequently as chair of the Group. I am proud to remain as an honorary member."

CFDG Director, Shirley Scott said,
"The satisfaction of achieving this milestone in the development of CFDG is tremendous. We have really become a force for change"
