CFDG helps the sector with Getting IT Right

9th March 2010

Knowledge management, business modelling and decision support will be key skills for a new generation of charity IT directors”, says Professor Peter Cochrane, Director of Cochrane Associates. Professor Cochrane will be speaking at the annual CFDG IT Conference: “Getting IT Right”, on Tuesday 16th March.

CFDG’s 8th annual IT conference sees a range of speakers drawn from across the charitable and private sectors, with two streams of presentations including outsourcing, strategy, benchmarking, collaboration and future trends.

David Membrey, CFDG Acting Chief Executive says, “this year we are focusing on the importance of defining and measuring the benefits of IT. In this economic climate it is vitally important that charities are on top of IT issues, and are maximising the enabling potential of the IT function across the board.”

“Getting IT Right” will be held at the Royal College of Surgeons, from 9am – 5pm, with a reception to follow. Last year’s 200 plus delegates included Finance Directors, Directors of Resources, IT Directors and Managers, Chief Executives, and Trustees with an interest in IT.

This conference is kindly sponsored by Sayer Vincent and Touchstone group.
