CFG announces new leadership team

7th January 2014

2013 for Charity Finance Group was a year of growth and development. As 2014 begins CFG is delighted to announce the appointment of three new directors to CFG who will help us build on our achievements and enable us to realise our vision of a charity sector that is financially confident, dynamic and trustworthy.

CFG’s new leadership team will be:

Tania Cohen, Director of Services and Enterprise

Tania has extensive experience of the sector, having worked with some leading sector bodies including the Institute of Fundraising, the British Red Cross, and Charities Evaluation Services to name a few. Her wide ranging skills from finance to fundraising make her perfect to deliver this crucial role for CFG.

John Ingamells, Director of Policy and Engagement

John joins from the financial services sector with policy and public affairs experience. Prior to that he spent 14 years in the Diplomatic Service (completing overseas postings in South Korea and Argentina). With an understanding of the challenges facing finance professionals John will bring a blend of skills to complement our well respected policy staff. His role will combine our communications, research work and engagement across our stakeholder groups.

Jane Tully, Deputy Director of Policy and Engagement

Jane was formerly CFG’s head of policy and public affairs and has been promoted to this new role. She has worked with CFG since July 2011 and before that for the Charity Commission.

Jacqui Porritt, Director of Resources

Jacqui has a commercial and not for profit sector background and has held Senior Finance posts in a range of not for profit organisations including Age UK Enterprises Limited, Amnesty International and Depaul UK. Jacqui has also been the Deputy Director of Finance for the Pensions Service (DWP) and Director of Finance for Customer Services, at AVIVA and RAC Services.

Caron Bradshaw, CFG CEO said: “These new appointments bring a range of senior level skills and experience to CFG at an exciting time in our history. I can’t wait to start seeing their impact on our work, helping me lead our committed and dedicated staff team”.
