This members' meeting will give you the opportunity to learn more about internal controls, and how these can ensure your organisation is producing reliable financial reporting and is compliant with law. 

The final session will consider your financial processes so your organisation can streamline its expenditure.

Both sessions will have a 20-minute long discussion, so you will have the space to share ideas and ask questions most relevant to your charity.

This meeting is free of charge and is for CFG members only.

 
Speakers

Martin Hubbard, Director of customer and business support, Charity Finance Group

An experienced accountancy professional, Martin takes the lead on the organisation’s finance and accountancy functions. Martin brings considerable experience to the role: he worked for seven years as Finance Manager at Anti-Slavery International and prior to that he spent around 20 years in various financial and management accounting roles in Local Government, mainly within Surrey County Council. Martin is also Treasurer for a small charity, Dalit Solidarity Network UK.

Julie Masci, Associate Director, Grant Thornton

Julie is an Associate Director and Engagement Lead with over 17 years’ experience within Grant Thornton’s public services team, where she has worked with a wide variety of local government, healthcare and not for profit organisations across the South West and Wales.
