MLC Partners provide a humble, hardworking, honest approach to recruitment. Founded in 2015 and Recruitment Agency of the Year in 2019, we are arguably the new kids on the block, challenging the ‘status quo’ and providing clients and candidates an exciting alternative. Our foundations have allowed us to quickly build an enviable reputation as the recruitment partner of choice to local, national, and international charities.

People have mixed experiences working with recruiters. We aim to exceed expectations in everything we do. Our charity team work hard to ensure each and every campaign we undertake; interim or permanent, is carefully tailored to meet the client’s needs, every candidate we recommend has been precisely selected, and everything we do is underpinned by our business strategy to build strong, long term relationships.

As your recruitment partner, we are an extension of your business and our aim is to do more than just fill a role. Whether you need a partner to help develop a talent strategy that promotes a diverse and inclusive workforce or you want access to targeted networking events to share ideas/seek advice on some of the many challenges the sector faces we are here to add value and facilitate.

Head of Finance – Housing Charity

"I have used Jamie Elliott on several occasions over the last few years to recruit Interim finance staffing for various teams. Often the requirements have been quite complex, requiring niche skill sets but Jamie always listened to the requirements, offered advice and guidance when scoping out the roles and delivered strong shortlists of candidates. Most importantly he took the time to understand the type of people that would work well with me, the team, and the organisation. It is great to have a recruitment partner that is personal in his approach and consistently delivers above expectations."

Chief Finance Officer – Nesta

"MLC were engaged to recruit a permanent Financial Controller for Nesta. This had been a challenging role to recruit successfully for during the previous 12 months with an exacting brief and personality fit being prerequisites for a successful placement. They listened to our requirements faithfully and submitted a high quality candidate short list. Importantly, they understood my instruction to only send CV’s of those candidates which had been met and discussed the role in depth with, and furthermore where they believed that only the personality/fit was the unknown variable as opposed to technical capability to do the job. We were highly impressed by all of the six candidates that we met through MLC and ultimately invited three very strong individuals back for final interview before making a successful offer on first attempt. I really appreciate the commitment to Nesta that MLC gave and the quality of individuals that they presented to us.  We hope to continue our working relationship for the future."
