Online event
The new SORP applies to all accounting periods ending on or after 1 January 2026. It introduces significant changes to the required content of Trustees’ Reports for charities of all sizes.
CFG will host a series of free online events to keep you up to speed with all the changes. This session is on annual reporting. There is also a repeat SORP annual reporting event hosted on Thursday 20 November
Why should I attend?
Under the updated framework, charities are now classified into three tiers, with reporting requirements varying according to the tier your organisation falls into.
This session will explain the key changes affecting each tier and help you prepare for the upcoming transition. It will cover the new disclosure requirements and offer practical guidance on how to achieve compliance.
Areas such as impact reporting, volunteers, sustainability, and reserves feature among the new reporting expectations. Updates have also been made to the sections covering aims and objectives, achievements, and plans for the future.
The session will conclude with approximately 25 minutes for Q&A.
